A Glimpse of Genevieve Ngosa’s Highlights
“Art is in everything I do, whether I choose to acknowledge it or not, art is present; it’s all around me, enfolding me. When I think of the way my plants take up space or the way I make tea, the way my hair falls no matter how I fix it or even how I stretch, that’s art but do we choose to recognize it as such? The stories are right in front of us, the ones we think no one wants to hear or maybe we’re too scared to share but that is art. Exploring the depth of your inner being and developing it because it’s true to you - each stage, phase, cycle or ebb and flow is art. Art gives us life, and life in return, presents us with opportunities to create more art. So, the question is.. what will you create with what you’ve been given?”
